I started Australian Property Experts because I was tired of watching good people get sold bad investments. Most buyers agencies are owned by people who've never bought investment property in their own name. I've bought 17, and counting, alongside my wife Jody.

Every strategy we recommend is one we use ourselves. Every suburb we buy in is one we'd buy in ourselves. If it's not good enough for our portfolio, it's not good enough for yours.

Straight answers. No sales pitch.

How much does it cost?

We charge a flat fee, not a percentage of purchase price. That means we're never pushed toward a more expensive deal. Exact fees depend on the service package, and we share the breakdown on your free strategy call. Most clients find the savings from better negotiation and off-market access more than cover our fee.

How long does it take to find a property?

Most clients have keys in 4 to 8 weeks from signing on. Some go faster with a ready-to-go off-market deal. We don't rush it. We'd rather find the right property than the fast one.

Do you buy in every state?

Yes. We buy wherever the data points. Across the last 12 months our clients have purchased in WA, QLD, SA, VIC, NSW and TAS. We're not geographically loyal, we follow the fundamentals.

What if I can't get finance?

We always recommend confirming your borrowing capacity with a mortgage broker before we start hunting. If you don't have one, we can refer you to brokers we trust. If finance falls through, we pause, fix, and restart when you're ready.

How are you different from other buyers agents?

Three things. We only work with investors, not owner-occupiers. We built Apex, our own suburb-scoring model, so every recommendation is data-backed and auditable. And 86% of our purchases are off-market, giving clients access to stock that never hits realestate.com.au.

Is the strategy call really free?

Yes, and there's no pressure to sign on afterwards. If we're not the right fit for your situation, we'll tell you honestly and suggest who might be. We've turned away plenty of fits that weren't right for either of us.

What if I'm not ready to buy yet?
