Meet Peter & Jody Ly

Founders & Principal Buyers Agents

Peter has close to a decade of experience in banking and finance. Jody's background is in law and media. Together they built their own property portfolio to 7 investments before starting Australian Property Experts to help other investors do the same.

They started the agency because they saw too many investors overpaying, buying in the wrong markets, or getting steered into developer stock that paid the agent a commission but didn't serve the buyer. They wanted to build something where the only obligation was to the client, and to help everyday Aussies build real wealth through property the same way they had.

Week 2-4

Search & Shortlist

We source properties on and off-market across your target areas. Every property is scored across 50+ data points. We only present options that pass our checks.

Week 4-6

Due Diligence & Negotiation

Full due diligence including building and pest inspections, comparable sales analysis, and rental appraisals. Then we negotiate on your behalf to secure the best price and terms.

Week 6-12

Settlement & Beyond

We coordinate with your solicitor, broker, and property manager through to settlement. Keys in hand, tenants secured. From there, ongoing portfolio strategy, performance reviews, and guidance as you plan your next purchase.
